Who We Are:
Nebulark.net (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes and operates OneMcqs App.

Information We Collect

  1. User-Provided Content: Text you enter and content you choose from documents to generate MCQs.

  2. Files You Select: When you pick a document, the App reads only the content of that selected file for MCQ generation.

  3. On-Device App Data: Saved MCQ lists, decks, progress, titles, prompts, and generation parameters (stored locally via Room Database and SharedPreferences).

We Do Not Collect:
Contacts, precise location, photos, camera, microphone input, unique device identifiers, or background file scans.

No Ads/Analytics:
The App does not contain any advertising SDKs or analytics/crash-reporting SDKs.

How We Use Information

  1. Provide core features (generate, save, and practice MCQs).

  2. Maintain your saved data and progress on your device.

  3. Send your prompts and/or extracted text to our AI provider solely to generate MCQs and return results.

Third Parties and Data Sharing

  1. AI Processing (Required): Your input (prompts and text extracted from selected documents) is sent to Google’s Generative AI (“Gemini”) to generate MCQs and return a response. Processing is governed by Google’s applicable terms and privacy documentation.

  2. No Sale of Data: We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Data Storage and Retention

  1. On-Device Storage: MCQs, decks, and progress are stored locally on your device (Room/SharedPreferences).

  2. Backups: Android backup is disabled for this App; we do not back up your data to our servers.

  3. Server-Side Retention by Us: We do not host your data. Content is transmitted to the AI provider only to obtain a response; we do not maintain separate server copies.

  4. AI Provider Retention: May retain or process inputs per their policies. Avoid including personal or confidential information in prompts/documents.

Permissions Used

  1. READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_DOCUMENTS: Lets you select a file and permits the App to read only the content you choose for MCQ generation. The App does not scan storage beyond your selection.

Your Choices and Controls

  1. Choose which files or text to submit for generation.

  2. Delete saved MCQs/decks within the App; uninstalling removes App data from your device.

  3. To exercise privacy rights (access, deletion, portability), contact us. Since we do not maintain server-side profiles, responses may consist of guidance to delete local data.

Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the relevant age under local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security
Data is sandboxed by Android on your device. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a local‑first app. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

International Users
Your inputs may be processed by our AI provider’s infrastructure, which may be located outside your country. By using the App, you consent to such processing where permitted by law.

GDPR/CCPA Disclosures

  1. We do not engage in marketing profiling and do not sell personal information.

  2. Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing. Since we do not hold server-side records, most requests involve deleting local data or uninstalling the App.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated Effective Date.
